AEO (Authorised Economic Operator)
The AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) is an internationally recognised certification that demonstrates a business's compliance and security in the international supply chain.
It is issued by customs administrations in the European Union (EU) as part of a partnership program between the customs authority and the Economic Operator (EO).
AEO status shows that a business is reliable and has customs control procedures that meet the AEO standards and encourages best practices in the international supply chain.
As a direct representative, Efret can provide access to our guarantees and authorisations including Transit Guarantee, Deferment Account, AEO and Authorised Consignor.
ISO 14001
ISO 14001 certification is a prestigious and internationally recognised standard that outlines the criteria for effective environmental management systems within a business. It is designed to help organisations improve their sustainability performance by reducing waste and using resources more efficiently.

Ecovadis - Sustainability Rating
Efret has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver rating for its commitment to sustainable business practices.
The EcoVadis Silver rating places Efret in the top 15% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis, and demonstrates the company’s strong commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility. The rating also acknowledges Efret’s efforts to reduce its environmental impact, promote ethical practices, and contribute to the communities in which it operates. Efret’s sustainability endeavours include initiatives to reduce carbon emissions, minimise waste, and promote sustainable transport and supply chain practices.
Ecovadis is a global organisation that assesses and rates companies on their sustainability performance. Their rating system evaluates companies on a range of criteria, including environmental management, labour and human rights practices, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

UK Customs Academy
Efret personnel are trained by the world's first Customs Academy offering a comprehensive development pathway for Customs Professionals.
Developed at the request of HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to support the development of a robust and sustainable customs sector of the future, the Academy is a partnership between the Institute of Export & International Trade, KGH Customs Services and the Centre for Customs & Excise Studies.
The UK Customs Academy offers a range of online Customs courses, depending on an individual’s level of experience and knowledge in Customs and international trade. Available courses range from
an entry-level Level 2 Customs Practice & Procedure Award all the way through to a Level 7 Masters in Customs Administration.
BIFA
Efret is a member of BIFA which is the leading body representing the UK international freight services industry.
BIFA has a membership of over 1600 members in the logistics and supply chain sector, known generally as freight forwarders, who offer a wide range of services within these various modes.
Members of BIFA are organisations engaged in the movement of freight to/from the UK by all modes of transport: air, road, sea and rail. Some members also provide customs clearance and other cross border services.
A not-for-profit organisation, BIFA is funded by subscription and run by its members for members. It operates with a full-time Secretariat which administers and manages the Association’s affairs.
BIFA members trade under a set of Standard Trading Conditions that are backed in the insurance sector.
FIATA
Efret is a member of FIATA, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations that promotes trade facilitation and best practices among the freight forwarding community.
It is a non-governmental, membership-based organisation representing freight forwarders in some 150 countries. FIATA’s membership is composed of 114 Association Members and over 5,500 Individual Members, overall representing an industry of 40,000 freight forwarding and logistics firms worldwide.
FIATA is a reference source on international policies and regulations governing the freight forwarding and logistics industry. FIATA works at the international level to represent service providers who operate in trade logistics and supply chain management.
